The members of the Board of Directors of a public charter school in Puerto Rico are responsible for overseeing the school’s operations, establishing fiscal policies, approving the budget, and managing major financial commitments. They make key financial and operational decisions to ensure the school meets its student performance goals. Additionally, the board provides regular reports as required by law and contract, and fulfills evaluation and monitoring requirements from the Puerto Rico Department of Education.

Brenden Picard is not only the founder of Caribbean Global Charter School, but also serves as the executive director of the organization. In dual role, he plays a crucial part in shaping the school's vision and ensuring its success. His leadership and commitment to education are in providing quality learning experiences for students.

Brenden brings over seven years of international education experience to the table, demonstrating a deep understanding of diverse educational systems. He holds a master’s degree in international education, equipping him with the knowledge and skills to navigate the complexities of global learning environments.

Vice-President
Washington has been immersed in the realm of international experiential education for over five years. With his background from Brazil, he offers a unique perspective on education thates Caribbean Global's initiatives. Furthermore, as an engineer on our board, Washington applies expertise to our projects and renovations, ensuring they meet the highest standards. His contributions are invaluable to our mission and vision.

Secretary
Maria is a leading expert in Puerto Rico when it comes to learning through movement. Her company, PIVE, specializes in equipping educational centers with innovative tools and knowledge that engage students in active learning experiences. With her expertise, Maria is dedicated to transforming how students learn by integrating movement into their educational journeys.
